I don't know if this magic works like you can use your skills in one thing to make up for another, but I might be able to get good at practicing that. Wow. I'm moved, honestly.

Good point, I don't even know how it won't cut through my pockets. If you have a sheath or something, I thank you in advance for that also.

[Walter likes to think of himself as an optimist, but the barge has quickly shown him just how many different circumstances can occur that don't merit the optimism.]

[Trevor stands ready at the door, curled up in his usual cape. He tilts his head and holds the door open for Walter]

Hey. You all right? You look warm.

It's fine. I dress too cold a lot anyway. Change of pace will do me good. And... [With a low-voiced drama:] A glimpse of a bruise might give someone the right idea.

[He bounces on his feet tensely.]

The enchantment. Do you have that ability, or do the components just activate themselves? [He'd wondered for a second if "we" was about another person helping with the magic part.]

[He huffs, grinning. Trevor clicks open the Enclosure door, letting them into Castlevania itself. Or rather, the front entrance of it, grand and imposing and impossibly high gothic ceilings, designed to be intimidating from the ground up]

[He wonders if this is a separate magical area that has simply been accessed through the enclosure door. Then he wonders if this is actually a castle like out of the vampire stories. None of these seem wise to ask at the moment... This could so easily be a trap. Getting betrayed on the barge seems like a matter of when, not if. Let it not be Trevor, then.

He crosses himself and continues to follow. Maybe the castle will be drafty, or maybe it will be heated by the mysterious technology.]

[Trevor enters the facsimile of the castle so many of his ancestors fought and died in without a second's hesitation. He snorts aloud when he sees Walter cross himself]

[it actually is relatively heated. And has electricity! Which is decidedly weird for something supposedly built long before even Trevor's time.

He turns to face Walter, and a dagger springs out of his hand, hovering in the air between them]

[Walter points a finger to say:]

Just for the record, I was not an altar boy.

[But it's comfortable in here... He assumes Trevor made the settings. He looks at the dagger, observing that it appeared instead of Trevor manually taking it out.]
