Me, neither. A weapon in untrained hands is worse than no weapon at all, sometimes. Better to have people who know what they're doing do the protecting.

I don't think half the wardens here protect inmates. And I think half the inmates here protect themselves and the people they care for just fine.

I think you're really going out of your way not to say No, there's inmates here I wouldn't arm, which is smart and reasonable and not something you should feel bad admitting to.
