OOC PREFERENCES:
•CONTACT METHOD: Plurk or email work!
•THREAD-JACKING: Totally
•FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: Okay to recognize the Belmont name or other relatives. Probably not okay to let him know he's part of a TV show
•BACKTAGGING: Always
•AVOIDED TOPICS: Good with most things
•PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: She/her
IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: From when he killed literal Death at the end of Season 4
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Brown hair, blue eyes, decent height and build - is a little on the thin side but muscular. Has a scar over his left eye. Can sometimes smell like a barn because he tends to sleep in them. Has a low, sullen tone of voice. Usually in 15th century traveling clothing, or wearing a shirt that has the Belmont crest on it. Probably walking around in Dracula's old cape as a badge of honor. After his fight with Death, has a scarred arm from his wrist to his shoulder.
•DEMEANOR: Cynical asshole with a secret heart. Usually armed with any number of things he could scrounge up. Used to rough living and talks/acts rough in response.
•ABILITIES: From the app: Trevor is a normal human insofar as he doesn't have any vampiric abilities like Alucard or intrinsic magic at his disposal like Sypha. However, being born a Belmont affords him certain knowledge and abilities that put him a cut above most others.
For one, he's a born hunter, trained practically from birth to kill monsters and vampires (and one vampire in particular). Trevor's proven an expert swordsman and fairly good with daggers, though his primary weapon is the family whip, which he uses with extreme precision. It's likely not outside the realm of possibility that he's been trained with most weapons available to a 15th century noble family. He's athletic (when he's not falling-down drunk), strong and quick enough to keep pace with supernatural creatures even when weaponless. He's also ambidextrous, though whether he was born like that or trained to be that way is unknown.
Apart from athletic fighting prowess, Trevor is slowly regaining family knowledge taught to him at a young age. This plethora of information mostly comes in the form of "how to recognize people-eating monsters" and "where to stab them to make them die". He, like all Belmonts, were likely instructed in all the basics of Creature Hunting 101 but early years of trying to drink himself to death makes remembering hard for him sometimes.
Apart from that, while he's not precisely booksmart compared to Adrian or Sypha, he's a brilliant battle tactician and can use his old knowledge to adjust mid-fight to get an upper hand most times, even among enemies he's never fought before or ones much stronger than he is.
POST-GRADUATION, Trevor is armed with a few magical items: he has a cloak, a special dagger and a coin from Dracula where he can control the dagger with his mind, and so long as he keeps that coin on him, isn't in danger of bleeding out. The cloak is enchanted to turn blades from him and protect him from your usual stabbings and shootings.
He also has Morning Star on him: this is the sacred whip his family uses to hunt night creatures. It will do a load of holy damage to anyone it deems 'impure': demons, vampires, werewolves, zombies, etc.
Trevor is usually seen now walking the ship with a whole array of weapons that changes depending on what he's teaching himself. They include, but are not limited to: throwing knives, other knives, swords, whips, handguns ranging from the 18th-21st century, brass knuckles, a lightsaber, and a lighter.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Probably shows signs of malnourishment from years of wandering from town to town. Tends to get hurt a lot and shake it off. The scar on his eye is cosmetic; he can see out of it. Also has scarring up his wrist to his shoulder.
•CABIN INFORMATION: Trevor's cabin is level 6, cabin 16. It's the interior of his own childhood bedroom in the manor that burned down when he was a kid. It would likely be simple but clean and warm, with well-made, solid furniture and be mostly wood and stone from floor to ceiling except for a wood-and-iron door. The ceiling would be low, the bed high, to conserve heat and probably have a chamberpot and a fireplace in it. Think something like this. On one of the bare stone walls is a large tapestry of St. George and the Dragon; on the bedpost are initials carved by various Belmont children going back generations.
SPECIAL NOTE: He is almost never in this cabin. He doesn't like it. He also doesn't like asking the Admiral to change it. He lives in other people's cabins if you go to look for him. Mainly he uses this cabin as a place to stash unseemly amounts of weapons he buys in port. Also in his cabin are things given to him by other people, including Warren Kepler's brewing equipment, Reid's weapons forging/tinkering items, and a lot of hoarded beer and weapons.
Currently resides in Johann's cabin while Johann lives in Florian's.
As of Johann's graduation, lives mostly in Florian's spare room while occasionally crashing on Aerith's couch.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Non-human wardens would be a start. Killers being allowed to walk free to only kill again is another. He doesn't like people who torture others, and especially will get sore if anyone is targeting a child or a pet. Dracula's a sore spot always. Making fun of the Belmont clan or Sypha's a good way to get decked. Those are the major ones but there are a lot of other sore spots. Notably he's not going to get offended if you make fun of HIM. Hooray for self-hatred
